We are looking to extend the AI capabilities of our product with a small and capable, dedicated AI team, which you would be part of. You will closely work with the product manager and other engineers on delivering exciting AI features which simplify job search and recruiting.

Activities

In this role you will:

• Work closely with the product managers and other engineers. Actively participate in discussions around the product roadmap (what to build), prioritisation, scope and technology (how to build it).
• Build and extend the backend of our AI features using Python. This is a hands-on role and you will be coding 70-80% of the time.
• Work with the other product teams on integration AI features into our core product through various APIs.
• Be part of a highly ambitious and skilled product & tech organisation, take responsibility beyond writing code and work on an exciting product.

Requirements

You will be a great fit, if you:

• Have at least 3 years of experience in writing production-grade Python code
• Are proficient in building and integrating APIs e.g. using fastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Have extensive knowledge of modern web technologies, including low level concepts like caching, web sockets, cookies etc.
• Worked on integrating LLM functionality into a product already, e.g. with the OpenAI API
• Are a team player and eager to take responsibility beyond writing code, e.g. actively contributing to product decision-making
• Know the potential and limitations of current LLM technology

Nice to have:

• You have some experience in prompt engineering
• You've deployed and monitored production workloads using Kubernetes and Helm

Team

We’re a fun, diverse team from originally 14 nations , speaking English and passionate about delivering great software. Our R&D team has around 30 people, including engineers, data scientists, and product folks.

We work in small, cross-functional product teams that own specific product areas. Each team consists of a product manager, a product designer, and 3–5 developers. We collaborate across teams for technical tasks and work closely with data science and other departments.
